Membership Packages

1. If I am a Fit Start member but I miss a class one week can I make it up by having 2 classes in the following week?

Yes. If you miss a class you can make it up during the month for which you have paid for membership.  You cannot make up for missed classes after your next monthly membership subscription payment.  The reason for this is to give you the motivation you need to keep exercising!  We all miss the odd session from time to time but need to make up for it quickly so as not to lose momentum. If you are building up a backlog of classes to make up then you are not exercising regularly and you need me to help you!!

For best results the Fit Life Package is the answer for most people. BUT some exercise is better than no exercise so the Fit Training Package or Fit Start Package are better than no package! Fitness Health Professionals recommend you exercise at least 3 times a week at a high intensity for best results.

2. If I am a Fit Training member but I miss one or two classes in a week can I make them up by doing 3 classes each week during the following 2 weeks?

Yes.  As stated above for Fit Start members, you can make up for missed classes during the month for which you have paid for membership. But you must take them during that month.  See above for the reason why!

As classes are increasing in popularity and attendance you may need to book your place on a particular day.  Please see the Classes page for details on this.

3. Can I attend a single class if I am not on a Package?

Yes.  If there is space in the class a single attendance £6 per person per class. Zumba classes are £5 per person per class.

Effective Training

1. How many classes should I do each week?

Ideally, you should aim to do 3 exercise sessions each week, with each session combining resistance training (e.g. using some form of weight which can be your own body weight as we do in Bootcamp) and cardiovascular training (which is anything which gets your heart rate up significantly).  One class per week is certainly better than not doing anything at all, but you will begin to see results by doing at least 3 classes each week.  I have structured my fitness packages to reflect this.
